Have you ever said something that resonated so profoundly that you find your self repeating it and wanting to share it? At my lowest point, while sending my kids off to school, they could tell something was amiss. They sensed that I wasn't quite right that day. They needed reassurance. I looked at them and forced a smile and calmly said, "It's a great day to be us". That day I said it for the first time on the radio, and again, and again. Today it's as close to a catch phrase as I will ever have, but unlike so much of what I say it has a deeper more personal meaning. This website; itsagreatdaytobeus.org is my way of hopefully spreading hope, love and a glimpse at the promise of a new day, A Great Day....To Be Us! Below you will find links to causes and people needing some encouragement and a helping hand. Thanks for anything you can do.
